Recognized as an industry expert in combining the latest online and offline marketing opportunities with revenue management to create sustainable revenue growth, Scott has been called on for speaking engagements including HSMAI, Eye for Travel, PhocusWright and others. As well acting as an industry reviewer for Cornell Quarterly and publishing several articles on methods to increase revenues through the synergy of online with offline business strategies.

As founder of Incite Revenue, Scott works directly with independent hotel owners and leadership teams to optimize all areas of revenue and profit maximization through sales, marketing, distribution channel strategies and decisions. Scott’s client base also includes hotel brands where he provides leadership on revenue management and supporting technology for long term business growth.

Prior starting Incite Revenue, Scott held the position of Vice President of Revenue Management with Sequel Hotels & Resorts, where he focused on the growth of independent hotels in the Canadian Market. Before relocating back to Canada to join Sequel, Scott held the position of Vice President Revenue Strategy for TravelCLICK, where he focused on implementing revenue generation best practices to maximize hotel revenue and profitability for over 4,000 properties worldwide. During his time with TravelCLICK Scott was an integral part of growing TravelCLICK’s product portfolio.

Previous to this, Scott held the positions of Corporate Director of Distribution and Revenue Management at Fairmont Hotels and Resorts. In this role, Scott co-developed the company’s proprietary Revenue Maximization program. He worked closely with all hotels to drive sales through revenue strategies and tactical plans. Scott also has extensive experience in hotel acquisitions and transitions, and in the implementation of hotel business systems including central reservations and property management systems.

Scott holds a B.A. in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Ryerson University in Toronto, Ontario. He also holds a Certified Revenue Management Executive certification from HSMAI, as well as a Revenue Management and Asset Management Certification from Cornell University.
